Caroline Hale, LCSW, provides individual psychotherapy to adolescents and adults, offering compassionate support to clients facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and mood or trauma-related disorders. She specializes in working with individuals navigating major health issues, such as cancer and chronic illness, and has extensive experience supporting clients undergoing medical treatments as well as those pursuing palliative care.
Caroline is dedicated to fostering a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where healing can occur. She utilizes therapeutic approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailoring each treatment plan to meet the unique needs of her patients.
Before joining Carolina Wellness Psychiatry, Caroline provided both inpatient and outpatient psychotherapy at UNC Hospital, where she worked with adults living with sickle cell disease. She earned her social work degrees from Meredith College and NC State University.
