Dr. Patterson isn’t attentive during monthly visits as the conversations get sidetracked. She keeps jumping topics and i go home with so many questions. The regular visits need to be more focused on the current pregnancy and conceShow morerns. Besides, she brushes off concerns when we express what’s bothering. It was an OK experience and many times I felt unheard. She interrupts quiet a lot when I speak and always tries to overpower the conversation with something irrelevant. She is very fast with her suggestions and more focused on taking notes to improve her experience than focus on me. Though the doctors in the practice deliver at two hospitals she is particular and wants us to deliver at only one location. I didn’t like the hospital experience and there was only one nurse that night and my husband helped the nurse to move me up the bed during labor. The doctor encouraged me to push and was supportive during the labor. The doctor will not tell you anything about what to expect after delivery and what to be prepared for. The doctor is more focused on improving her knowledge than giving a good experience to her pregnant patients.
Everything was good except the very rude receptionist who checked in me. I went there for an annual check-up, and I was concerned about it. I was not sure that would be a visit with the problem. She asked what it was. I told herShow more that I was not sure what I had was normal or abnormal. She asked me for detail for billing. Why do I need to talk about my medical concern details at the desk? I don't get it. Where are patients confidentially? She was so unpleasant
Carrie Patterson, MD, FACOG, is a dedicated, board-certified OB/GYN and co-founder of the all-female physician practice, Nurture Women's Health and Stella Spa at Nurture Women’s Health in Frisco, Texas.
Dr. Patterson received her bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where she was a Trustee Scholar and graduated magna cum laude. She went on to complete her master’s degree in physiology and biophysics at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She stayed there to receive her medical degree, where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, graduating in the top 10% of her class.
She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, in Orange, California, where she received the Louis H. Smith, MD, Humanitarian Award in 2008.
Dr. Patterson is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She holds hospital privileges at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Centennial in Texas.
Dr. Patterson consistently uses her efforts to advance obstetric and gynecologic health care by offering women thorough, compassionate, and evidence-based medical guidance.
Her goal is to establish a long-term connection with each one of her patients. She provides expert, individualized care during every stage of a woman’s life, from adolescence to pregnancy and beyond.
In her free time, she and her husband stay busy keeping up with their twin daughters and two border collies. She also enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, watching sports, and cheering on her beloved USC Trojans.

While there might occasionally be a wait during appointments, I comprehend it's because she genuinely spends quality time with her patients. Dr Patterson was and always is awesome. She took her time with my IUD, making me much more comfortable overall, and as always she's very thorough and kind in explaining what she's doing, what to expect, and in answering all my questions. She and the other doctors in her practice are why I've been a patient for over a decade and will continue driving all the way from Garland for healthcare I trust.

Nice staff during the check in processes. Short wait before being brought back. My time with Dr. Patterson, I felt listened to, and felt that my concerns were being considered and thought about how to move forward with finding a solution.

Everyone I met was great from the front desk to the ultrasound technician to the nurse and lab technicians! Dr Patterson has a great bedside manner and was very detailed and compassionate with me during my visit. My husband and I both said how much we liked her after leaving!

From the front staff to the phlebotomists everyone is very kind and welcoming. It is a place that makes you feel comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Patterson to ALL expectant mothers. She is amazing! Listens carefully, she’s truly invested, and takes the time for appointments. She delivered my first baby and I couldn’t have been happier with her. We’re now on baby #2 working with Dr. Patterson.
