Michelle Sims, ARNP, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife at All About Women OB/GYN in Panama City, Florida. Michelle has been a resident of the Panama City area since 2002 and enjoys providing exceptional care to the women living in and around Bay County.
Michelle has four children, all of whom were born here at Gulf Coast Medical Center. Additionally, she has been practicing as a midwife since 2012. She first realized her dream of caring for women while she was training to be an emergency medical technician with the Air National Guard, where she witnessed the miracle of childbirth. She knew right away that obstetrics and women's health were for her. She then worked as a technician in labor and delivery while training to become a nurse.
Later, while practicing as a labor and delivery nurse, she concluded she wanted to have a larger impact on the care women receive. As a result, she decided to further her education and become a certified nurse-midwife. Over the years, she has been a childbirth educator and enjoys helping women manage their health through all stages of life.

I did not appreciate being chastised for missed appointments. I showed up to those appointments, waiting for over an hour in the lobby and had to leave because I have other commitments in life and I will not put myself or those that depend on me through stress and having to reschedule my own commitments, or miss work in order to compensate for the tardiness of a poorly run clinic. I fulfilled my end of the deal. I was there, I was even 15 minutes early to every appointment. It isn't my fault that the office didn't hold up their appointed commitment. Unfortunately I don't have time to throw away. My time is important and valuable. If you truly felt that my getting care and time specific tests done was important, then you would have showed up for my appointment. But YOU missed every single one, and no.. I'm not wasting hours of time sitting in a lobby, pretending your time is more important than mine. I was more than gracious waiting an hour past appointed times.

My first time visit with this office, overall, went very well. The wait was a little long but I think I came on a crazier than normal day. Everyone was very sweet and accommodating. I loved that my physician came and had a detailed chat with me regarding my health concerns before she even did the exam. I really felt like she was listening to me and wanted to help me through my issues. I left feeling very satisfied with the answers I received and the plan that we have in place. I would highly recommend this office to anyone.
Michelle is fantastic! I cannot recommend her enough. She is kind, caring, and oh SO knowledgeable. You and/or your love ones will be in good hands with her.

Yesterday was my first visit and I was hesitant from multiple reviews on multiple sites; however, I had a VERY pleasant and positive experience! From the ladies at check-in/check-out, my ultrasound tech Kayla, and Michelle and her nurse as well! There was so much to remember I can’t remember everyone’s name but everyone was really nice and the facility is nice as well!

Michelle was absolutely wonderful. She made what can be an uncomfortable experience, anything but. I was a bit worried when Charlie was no longer at the practice, who I adored, but was completely relieved once I met Michelle. Her nurse was extremely pleasant as well but I can’t remember her name.
