Chelsey Lahr, and her office are awesome. She listens. She asks questions that could be outside the box on things relating to how you're feeling. The staff has their appointment system down pat and send lots of reminders sent aShow mores texts and emails which is great for someone like me who has ADHD. I have never had to wait for the doctor to join me on a zoom session. The staff will get back to me promptly which is also very nice.

Since beginning my work as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in 2015, I have been dedicated to supporting adults facing challenges such as food addiction, depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, or bipolar disorder/mood disorders. I believe in building lasting therapeutic relationships with my clients, taking the time to understand their unique circumstances and symptoms, and together creating a treatment plan that they are comfortable with.
My approach involves utilizing prescribed medications as a tool to address symptoms while acknowledging the vital connection between the mind and body and incorporating holistic methods to promote mental well-being. This may involve evaluating your gut health, which plays a significant role in mental health, and conducting lab tests to assess thyroid and nutrient levels.
Having personally confronted depression, anxiety, and the impact of a Lyme disease diagnosis on mental health, as well as serving in the Army, my life experiences have shaped me into a more empathetic practitioner, equipping me to support others on their path to healing.
Outside work, I cherish spending time with my husband, three children, and our dachshund Maximus. Traveling and soaking up the sunshine brings me immense joy.
