About Christine Davies, APRN, IBCL

Christine Davies, MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC, IBCLC, is a skilled nurse at Angel Kids Pediatrics in Jacksonville, Amelia Island, and Saint Johns, Florida. Christine is a retired naval officer who brings dedication and compassion to her patients. 

Christine grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, became an EMT at sixteen, and volunteered at the Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department. She attended the University of Pittsburgh Nursing School with a Navy ROTC scholarship and was commissioned as an Ensign in 2002 after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After commissioning, Christine’s first assignment was as a staff nurse at the Naval Hospital Cherry Point, North Carolina. She was then stationed in Okinawa, Japan, and was awarded the Staff Nurse of the Year in 2007.  

Showing incredible promise in her field, Christine was selected for the Navy’s Duty Under Instruction program as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Loma Linda University with a Master of Science in Nursing. She served as a staff Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia, and the Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. She was awarded Senior Nurse Corps Officer of the Quarter in 2016. 

Dedicated to education, Christine was appointed an Instructor of Pediatrics by the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She has delivered lectures for pediatric residents and medical students and has served as a preceptor for nurse practitioner students. She obtained certification as an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant in August 2018. 

After 20 years of service, Commander Christine Davies retired from active duty in May 2022. She earned the following decorations: Meritorious Service Medal, Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Ribbon, and National Defense Service Ribbon.

Christine currently resides in Orange Park, Florida, with her husband Wayne, daughter Layla, and son Jack.
