About Christine Sroka, MOT, OTR/L, CSRS

Kristin Sroka, is a Licensed Master Social Worker. Kristin believes in providing a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment to help clients gain insight, heal, and achieve their goals.

Kristin has experience working with clients who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, life transitions, and concerns related to social identity.  She thinks of therapy as a partnership. She works collaboratively with clients to help them identify and overcome obstacles and restructure negative thinking patterns.

Kristin has experience using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques.  She is committed to continued growth and learning as a therapist and is passionate about using a trauma informed and client-centered approach, meaning treatment plans are individualized based on each client’s needs.

Kristin graduated from Hunter College’s Silberman School of Social Work, MSW. She also graduated from Boston University with a BS in Communication.
