I had a video followup visit after surgery. It was a great way to meet as it saved time it would take for an in person appointment.
My repeated concerns about not being able to swallow and that I was dehydrated were dismissed. I was told I was given fluid in the operating room, so I wasn’t dehydrated. I was told my dizziness was from anesthesia. This delayed me going to the ER until I was severely dehydrated and then had to stay 5 days in the hospital. I continued to have issues with dehydration with no help, except telling me to drink more, when I couldn’t. My age, almost 70, and the effects of this were ignored.

All went well, Claire answered my questions along with explaining clearly how and what will be going on over the next few days and the weeks following the surgery
