This was my first unpleasant visit, which I’ve been there several times since I’m currently pregnant and having to rotate through several different providers. Today, I experienced who I believed to be Dr.Killian and her assistant Show moreloudly talking to each other about information, or the lack of information that was in my chart through the closed door of the patient examination room. Clear statements of “why did they do the glucose test early, and why have they not checked her hemoglobin?” in a very sharp condescending tone. With a final statement of “I’m not going in to talk to her until I know why.” Then the assistant walked in to check my iron to which I promptly answered all the questions that was asked in the hallway between each other. She was a little bit embarrassed, and rightfully so. The perception that my chart was lacking information and/or not having a clear understanding of my care that I have been receiving this far started to make me doubt if I was receiving the best medical care during this pregnancy. When speaking with Dr.Killian, it felt disingenuous. When wanting an explanation for the medical necessity of doing a second 3 hour glucose test, she promptly informed me I could do a 1 hour test which further fueled my doubts. That was not my question, which I clarified, and said “what was the significance of doing one early and then needing to do it again if I had passed the first 3 hour test? What additional information do you get doing another 3 hour test at 28 weeks?” She finally explained that one test looks for type one diabetes and the other looks for type two diabetes which can only be truly diagnosed at 28 weeks due to hormones. It was very short to the point visit. As someone who is in the medical field, I know they are aware of not talking loudly about patient information for a multitude of reasons. This caused me doubt and concern about my care that I’ve been receiving, and general concern about who else is hearing this information. I’m sure it was general office banter, but do know we can hear you loudly and clearly in the hall. You may be a very busy location seeing a lot of patients, but work on your bedside manner.
There may be a review that said i had a negative experience, I know I hit the positive! I am so sorry because there is nothing to say negative about how my appointment went. Dr. Killian was thurough, and because of that she helpedShow more diagnosis me with IUGR. This has allowed me to do what is best for my baby! It would have been easy for her to brush off me measuring a little small at that appointment, especially since I had already taken up so much of her time prior to this with delivery questions. When she measured me small, she said it was just a little small but to be safe we will do more. With that, she put my baby and me first, helped me get more help from a specialist, and provided exceptional medical care. Truely can’t say enough.

Love Dr Killian. She listens and gave me options to address my problems. I would 10/10 recommend her.
Kind, caring, and really listens.
Dr. Killian really does listen to her patients and is concerned about their physical AND mental health. She answers all of my questions and makes sure she asks about my caregiver role to my elderly mom and my stress level. Dr. Killian’s personal touch is the quality that takes her excellent medical skills over the top. I recommend her to everyone I know.

This is my first baby and everything is new to me. All the staff I’ve encountered thus far have been very kind and helpful
I can’t say enough about Dr. Killian. Best ever. Today, she listened to my concerns, she didn’t rush through, she helped me come up with a care plan moving forward and she was so thoughtful and kind. It is such a relief to know that there still are health care professionals who care about their patients. I am so grateful.
Wonderful experience. I love Dr Killian! Her assistant was wonderful also.
Slay
The wait was long today. They clearly over-booked their appointments. However, the advice I received during my visit was great, as usual.
I had my first visit with Dr. Killian last week and I was extremely happy! I was able to voice all my health concerns with her and she actually listened! Some of the concerns were issues I've tried addressing with other providers, but no one ever took them seriously. She ran test that no one wanted to run, and I just received a call to get more testing done to rule out any issues. It's rare to find a provider that is willing to dig deeper to make sure our concerns are acknowledged.
Dr. Killian is warm and listens to your concerns. She educates you and I truly feel comfortable coming to my appts. I recommend her 100%.
Great doctor and staff, but very hard to find office.
