Daniel Elgut, DPM, is a skilled podiatrist at South Florida Foot & Ankle Centers in Royal Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, and Lake Worth, Florida. He is dual board-certified and certified by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Elgut was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He attended the University of Florida, graduating summa cum laude with a published thesis. He attended Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he finished with honors.
Afterward, Dr. Elgut completed a three-year reconstructive foot and ankle residency training program at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida, with an emphasis on lower extremity surgery.
Since completing his residency education, Dr. Elgut has limited his practice to reconstructive surgery of the ankle and foot, specializing in minimally invasive treatments of complex disorders of the lower extremity. He is considered a renowned doctor in his field and has been published in multiple research articles.
Dr. Elgut has extensive experience in arthroscopy, minimally invasive surgery, regenerative medicine (stem cell therapy, platelet-rich plasma, and amniotic tissue therapy), external fixation, trauma, reconstruction, wound care, and forefoot and midfoot surgery.
One of Dr. Elgut’s most notable accomplishments is being a core attending of Podiatric Medical Resident Education, a position he has occupied for three years.

It was just as l expected. I had a toe procedure last March and l had one 3/19/2021. The service l received from the front desk to the Dr. and the nurse was wonderful. They always make you feel very comfortable.
