I have been going to Dr. Foulk probably since he started his practice! He is the kindest man I think I know! His Practitioners and nurses/MA’s have all been just as nice. Christina is great also. He is so very gentle both in hShow moreis exams and in his words. He has given me many words of advice over the years. I highly recommend him for all ob & gyn needs. David W. Foulk, MD, prides himself on pioneering the most state-of-the-art, comprehensive women’s healthcare treatment in the Marion, Ohio, area. He founded Marion OB/GYN Inc. over 30 years ago with the mission of providing innovative and minimally invasive procedures, while forging a practice built on trust and compassion.
Born and raised in Bucyrus, Ohio, Dr. Foulk graduated summa cum laude from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, with a BA in Pre-Med, Chemistry, and Zoology. He was admitted to Phi Lambda Upsilon, The National Chemistry Honor Society, and served on the Zoology Board.
Dr. Foulk earned his MD at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He was one of six medical students chosen for the highly selective Sports Medicine Rotation, where he served as a team physician for the OSU Football and the full sports department.
At OSU, Dr. Foulk realized that he loved the OB/GYN specialty. He completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mt. Carmel Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, where he served as Chief Resident.
Immediately after his residency, Dr. Foulk relocated to Marion with his wife and children. He and his family quickly became part of the community and have happily established many cherished, long-term friendships.
Dr. Foulk is a Fellow Member and board certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). He is also a member of the American Medical Association, The American Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, The Ohio State Medical Association, The Marion Academy of Physicians, The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and served as Chief for over 20 years for the OB/GYN Department at Marion General Hospital.
Dr. Foulk was the very first recipient of Marion General Hospital's Physician of the Year Award. He was also the recipient of the Customer Service Physician Champion Award in 2012 for Marion General and Ohio Health.

Dr foulk (and Christina) are wonderful and take time to make sure any questions are answered. Never felt like they rushing to get me out. Possible May be moving Columbus next year but will keep dr foulk as dr because don’t think I’d ever be able find another that I’d feel so comfortable with
Excellent except for the fact that I didn’t get into see the doctor until 45 minutes after my appointment.
Experienced female problem and was able to get right in. Following test that came back abnormal quickly scheduled additional procedure. Got final results that were good. Whole time Dr Foulk was encouraging to remain calm as he felt things were okay.
Everyone is always so pleasant and nice. Dr. Faulk is the most kind doctor I believe I’ve ever been to. He makes an unpleasant exam more comfortable. He is just a great person and I appreciate that.
It was easy, didn’t have to wait that long. My only issue is that Dr does a REAL FAST exam…I just want to make sure it’s thorough
