David Kalman, MD, is an esteemed gastroenterologist at Hampshire Gastroenterology Associates in Florence, Massachusetts.
Dr. Kalman earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, graduating with honors. His ambitions led him to medical school at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Kalman completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester after graduation.
Previously the president of Springfield Medical Associates, Dr. Kalman lent his skill to the same practice for 17 years. The practice included all aspects of gastroenterology, liver disease, and biliary disorders, including ERCP. Dr. Kalman also served on numerous physician organization boards.

Unfortunately my experience with him was not a good one. He didn't want to hear anything I was saying. He was rude. He didn't have any sympathy or empathy. I would rather not see him again. By the way, he brought his supervisor in. She was female. And she was just as rude. I started going to another GI specialist.
I feel that he really cares and he is easy to talk to. Yes, I would recommend him to otters.

Dr. Linson would get five stars in every category if thos feedback were structured in that way. She is one of the best doctors I've had in ages, including GI doctors in the Boston area. I'm really grateful that she made the sometimes grueling process of an endoscopy and colonoscopy much easier than they might have otherwise been. She's also a very clear communicator and excellent listener.
Appointment was ON TIME and allowed for a full and unhurried discussion and resolution of my medical issues!

Dr Lindon is the kind of doc I think we all want. She was personable, professional, knowledgable and friendly. She was respectful, shared infirmation easily and her bedside manner for my colonoscopy was fantastic. Dr Kalman was pleasant, on time and I feel he listened to me. I was given the option of taking a sooner appointment as there was a cancellation. The multiple page annual paperwork I had to fill out in the waiting seems outdated to me. Maybe this could be done online. Good experience. Thank you!

Saving the 5th tar till after the biopsy. Dr Linson was the shining star to my 2 weeks of wondering why nothing was being done sooner. The lab report from Cooley stated the 5.5cm. growth on my esophogaus was to be assumed malignant till proven otherwise. Not very comforting. And then not getting into the office till 12/1. Dr. Linson was very apologetic and and shared my time concerns. To the point that she did whatever she had to do to get my biopsy done as soon as possible. Could not be hapier about the way I was treated, and how all my questions and concerns were addressed. Dr. Linson and all members of the office staff I interacted with were excellent. I left the office feelibg much less stress than when I walked in. Thankyou for making a difficult time much easier. Al Chaney
