Founded in 2003, Hampshire Gastroenterology Associates offers experienced care in all fields of gastroenterology to the entire Pioneer Valley.
Our five gastroenterologists are Board Certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Patient care is complemented by our team of caring and experienced Advanced Practitioners.
One of our primary goals is colon cancer prevention. We offer highly skilled endoscopists, with a staff that can often provide routine screening colonoscopy scheduling without requiring an office appointment.
Our providers also have years of experience in other endoscopic procedures such as upper endoscopy in the evaluation of GERD and ulcer disease. ERCP is available with consultation.
We offer comprehensive care in acute and chronic liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, Barrett's esophagus and upper gastrointestinal motility testing.
We offer video capsule endoscopy for diseases of the small bowel and office-based hemorrhoid banding for patients with symptomatic hemorrhoids.
Our physicians and advanced practitioners are dedicated to providing up to date cutting edge care and we aim to integrate our care with other providers.

My appointment was with Dr Berkman but he wasn't in the office so I saw Amy Kravitz instead. She was very informative about my problem. Told me to maintain using the medication I was on and to return in 6 months for another follow up but call if I start to have problems again.
Met Dr Kalman for the first time. He was friendly, professional , and knowledgeable . Took time with me and asked a lot of questions to get to know my health. I really liked and would recommend him!
Seen in a timely way. Dr. Kalman attentive, listened well and completed an uncomfortable and invasive banding procedure quickly and compassionately. This was the 4th one I have had that Dr. Kalman has done!

Dr. Linson would get five stars in every category if thos feedback were structured in that way. She is one of the best doctors I've had in ages, including GI doctors in the Boston area. I'm really grateful that she made the sometimes grueling process of an endoscopy and colonoscopy much easier than they might have otherwise been. She's also a very clear communicator and excellent listener.
Dr. Tassoni is simply the best, and I feel incredibly lucky to have him as my doctor. He reviewed all my records carefully and also spoke to my surgeon before advising me on what action to take. He is straightforward but also kind and clearly cares about his patients.
Appointment was ON TIME and allowed for a full and unhurried discussion and resolution of my medical issues!

Very relaxing visit
I recently had my 3rd Colonoscopy by Dr Berkman and 1st endoscopy. Dr Berkman is very knowledgeable and well experienced. I would highly recommend Dr Berkman as your gastroenterologists. He was patient, efficient, and very informative.

Dr Lindon is the kind of doc I think we all want. She was personable, professional, knowledgable and friendly. Dr Kalman was pleasant, on time and I feel he listened to me. I was given the option of taking a sooner appointment as there was a cancellation. The multiple page annual paperwork I had to fill out in the waiting seems outdated to me. Maybe this could be done online. Good experience. Thank you!

Dr Ganz was on time. Took a lot of time with me answering my questions and attentive. She made a list for me to take home with suggestions (nutritionist was one).

I was early for my appointment and was taking right in. The provider is always thorough with my wellbeing and any concerns.
Dr. Berkman is a good listener and a good communicator, and explains his clinical reasoning in a clear and concise way. This is a very effective way to establish a trusting patient doctor relationship.
Doctor Ganz is a compassionate, dedicated doctor. Though those are things that are most important to me she is so much more. She is a good listener without judgement and reaches decisions that both patient and doctor are comfortable with. She's simply the best!!
Dr. Budhraja is a superior physician, generous with his knowledge and time and willing to be flexible when the situation calls for it. Sometimes this can be life-saving. I recommend him highly.
