Deepan Dalal MD, MPH, RhMSUS, is a board-certified internal medicine physician and rheumatologist at RI Rheumatology, providing comprehensive rheumatology care to people in Cranston, Rhode Island, and throughout Providence County.
Dr. Dalal was born and raised in India. He began pursuing his career at TN Medical College in Mumbai, earning his Doctor of Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Dalal moved to the United States. He completed an internal medicine residency at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio and a rheumatology fellowship at Boston University Medical Center in Massachusetts. He also obtained a master’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Before entering private practice, he spent almost 7 years as a teaching faculty at Brown University, and he continues to serve as an adjunct teaching faculty at Brown University.
At RI Rheumatology, Dr. Dalal diagnoses and treats various rheumatic diseases, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and lupus. He takes a patient-centered and minimally invasive treatment approach, emphasizing healthy lifestyle changes.
Dr. Dalal loves sharing his knowledge with others. He regularly mentors medical students, residents, and fellows and contributes to scientific publications and medical journals.
