Dr. Polley has been caring for patients in Eastern North Carolina since 1984, and he currently serves as Supervising Physician for his talented and dedicated staff of physicians assistants and nurse practitioners.
Dr. Polley received his medical school education at the College of Osteopathic Medicine & Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa, earning his Doctor of Osteopathy degree in 1979. Enter United States Army after graduation. He completed a 1-year rotating internship at William Beaumont army Medical Center in El Paso Texas. He completed his dermatology residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado in 1983, scarring in the top 4% of all dermatology residents on the National Board exam.
Dr. Polley is also board-certified by the National Board of Examiners for Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Cryosurgery. He is also a member of the North Carolina Medical Society.

I found the staff friendly and helpful. As a person with a disability, helpful and kind staff is very important. I did find the other patients a little intimidating, as I was almost pushed out of the way when I had just completed my transaction. I think that some education on person’s with disabilities may help the staff improve, but they did a wonderful job.

Diagnosed and froze the basal cell on my ear and it has not returned would definitely recommend
I like Dr Wilson, however her staff in the front office could use some customer service lessons. No eye contact, very dry and low speaking. Doesn’t make you feel welcome and intimidated to ask questions. A smile would go a long ways.
