I love Dr. Phillips. He has great energy. He delivered my third baby and then I went to him 7 months postpartum to have surgery for a prolapse issue. I came away from surgery with wonderful results! I couldn't be happier with my cShow morehoice to be a patient of Dr. Phillips. When it came to delivering my third baby, Dr. Phillips asked me about my plans for pain management during labor. It was the first time I had a care provider ask me about my plans and expectations. When I shared with him how I wanted an epidural, but I did not like how past epidurals left me so numb I can't feel my legs and get leverage to push. He said....and it was so simple..."just tell the anesthesiologist your concerns and they can give you a lighter epidural." I had no idea this was a request I could make. I had no idea I could go "lighter" on my epidural. It was great. I did as Dr. Phillips said and the anesthesiologist was more than happy to help me out. He gave me a lighter epidural that took the edge off the pain, but allowed me to feel the urge to push and use my legs to gain leverage. Great experiences all around. I also love the staff at AAOBGYN as well as St. David's North. The nurses are amazing!
I loved Dr. Aguirre and his staff. They are wonderful! He is a great doctor. Really nice and super friendly. :) I am so glad I had him as my ob/gyn. He is very knowledgeable and understanding. He did a great job on my repeat c-secShow moretion and he came to visit me at the hospital every day that I was there. Avery is also super nice and an awesome assistant. She always greeted me and my older daughter with a smile and asked about my day. They made sure I was always comfortable. Dr. Aguirre's nurse Anna is also wonderful. She is super nice and would call me once in a while to check up on me. She always did a very good job explaining my lab results and made me feel comfortable about everything. Anything I needed I would call her and she always made sure to get back with me as soon as possible. They made me feel like they really cared about me and they did an amazing job helping me get through my pregnancy. Overall, I had a very good experience and I will miss coming in. If I ever have another baby I will make sure to have Dr. Aguirre again as my doctor. :) He is the best ob/gyn and I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to have a great doctor.

Desiree treats each patient with compassionate and individualized care. She desires for all her patients to feel welcome, heard and looks forward to working with women of all ages. Desiree’s philosophy is to care for each individual as if they are family.
Desiree received her Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University Chicago. After graduation, she moved to Austin, TX. She initially began working for Dr. Uribe as a medical assistant. It was during this time that Desiree realized the respect, interest, and passion she has for women’s health. She then attended UT Health San Antonio where she obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies. She is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants and the Texas Association of Physician Assistants.
When not in the office, Desiree enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and dog named Wrigley. Family is important to her, so time spent with extended family is a key aspect in her life. She also likes outdoor activities, cheering on her favorite sports teams, trying out new restaurants, and traveling.
Desiree is fluent in Spanish.

We love dr Wang
Dr. Wang is very informative and takes time to answer all my questions and address all my concerns. My only complaint is the super long wait times. My appointment was at 11am and I didn't see the Dr until about 2:45

The only remark for a best practice for new patients in their 50’s is for the system to place them with someone that can see them quicker and not with an extremely busy baby doctor. I waited hours past my time not realizing that online appointment as a new patient does not work. The system cannot advise you to see a PA. The front desk staff look down and never at people standing not know what to do. Now that needs to be Addressed big time!!! Other than that my appointment was amazing and I am so glad I had to time to wait or I would have canceled.

Dr Phillips and his nurse team are incredible. They are thorough about addressing all my questions and concerns and have made me feel secure throughout my pregnancy. The team really cares about their patients. I’m very happy that I’ve been under their care for general OBGYN, maternity/delivery, and postpartum care.

I’ve had good experiences with the nurses, medical assistants, and Dr. Wang. They’re helpful, good listeners, and attentive. My consistent feedback is that this practice needs a booking management system that would allow people to potentially check in remotely, be aware of how many people are ahead of them in the queue, and what wait times they can expect. This would save much time and frustration.
