About Doretha Pengel, LCSW

Hello my name is Doretha Pengel and I am a Clinical Social Worker licensed in Texas and New York State. I am currently employed with Creating Connections Counseling Services full time/ I am a graduate of Fordham University School of Social Services where I received my MSW in 2003. Over the past 17 years I have obtained a broad range of experience ranging from psychotherapy with individuals, couples, adolescents and geriatrics. I am also an experienced mentor and life coach with individual clients and have been able to help them find their full potential. Throughout my sessions with clients I often bridge the gap between theory and practice which allows client to understand how their real life situations relate to different treatment modalities. I am down to earth and always seems able to establish a deep connection with clients.
