Doris Farrell is a nationally Board-Certified Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in medically focused massage therapy designed to relieve pain and improve functional movement. She holds certification through the Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (BCTMB) and completed her formal training at Alaska Career College.

With extensive experience in chiropractic and rehabilitation settings across Alaska—including Alaska Massage Clinic, Excellence in Health Chiropractic, and Hindman Family Chiropractic—Doris integrates a wide range of therapeutic techniques into her practice. These include deep tissue massage, advanced myofascial release, cupping, gua sha, essential oil therapy, teishin, and targeted stretching. Her background as a medical assistant and diabetes educator further enhances her clinically informed approach, especially for clients managing chronic health conditions.

Doris is deeply committed to patient education and personalized care. She works closely with each client to tailor treatments that support pain reduction, increased mobility, and overall quality of life. Whether clients seek light relaxation or deep therapeutic work, Doris adapts her techniques to meet individual needs and preferences.

Raised in Kenai, Alaska, Doris is a proud mother of three and grandmother of four. Family is at the heart of everything she does. She’s an avid outdoorswoman who enjoys hunting, fishing, kayaking, hiking, camping, and snowshoeing—always ready for a new adventure.

Doris is a passionate supporter of veterans and first responders, volunteering her time with Battle Dawgs, a veteran-owned nonprofit. Her advocacy for suicide awareness is a personal mission that drives much of her community involvement.
