Edward Scarbrough, OD, better known to his patients as “Dr. Ed,” is an optometrist at Scarbrough Family Eyecare in Beulah and Traverse City, Michigan. In his more than 30 years of experience, patients of all ages have trusted him to thoroughly examine their eyes and treat conditions like glaucoma, dry eyes, and cataracts.
Dr. Scarbrough values the relationships that he forms with each of his patients, giving them the tools to take control of their vision care inside and outside of his office.
Dr. Scarbrough received his undergraduate degree from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, in 1985. He then moved to Bloomington, Indiana, where he graduated from Indiana University with his optometry degree in 1989.
Today, Dr. Scarbrough is married to his high school sweetheart, Sandy. They’ve raised four children together and are now adjusting to life as empty-nesters. In his free time, he enjoys staying active with golf, cycling, and hunting.
