Dr. Nwegbo-Banks was most patient, interested, knowledgeable, upbeat, comforting, precise, and thorough. Finding a doctor that has an excellent bedside manner can often be hit or miss in these times, so finding one that has lots iShow moren common with their patients is an added asset. As a woman, your OB/GYN is one of the most important, if not the most important doctor to help advocate for your personal wellness. I was uber excited and pleased with my visit from the intake reps., nurse, doctor, and phlebotomist; the facility is so welcoming, warm, clean, and upscale. I look forward to my new partnership with my rooted DFW now Houston/Pearland physician and her guidance. “Y’all better get you a Dr. Nwegbo-Banks!”
Overall wonderful experience. This was my first women wellness visit ever and I was extremely nervous (just in general). But Dr. Nwegbo-Banks was very calming and talked me through the visit and what to expect. She listened to my Show moreconcerns and gave me her recommendations and the necessary information to make informed decisions. And even though I’m sure she was busy, she made sure to make time for my questions and concerns. And the staff was wonderful, kind, attentive, and easy to talk to. Overall, was an exceptional experience. Best experience I have ever had at a doctor’s office.
About Dr. Simms
Dr. Emily Simms is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a strong dedication to women's health and wellness. Her nursing career began in 2013 as a labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery nurse, where she honed her caregiving skills while pursuing advanced education. During this time, she further demonstrated her passion for maternal and infant health by earning her IBCLC certification in 2016. After graduating with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Kansas in 2021, she began practicing as a CNM by providing individualized, family-centered care at a free-standing birth center in Topeka, Kansas.
A mother of three children herself, Dr. Simms draws upon her diverse personal and professional experiences to bring a compassionate and holistic approach to her practice. Caring for countless families during her career as a labor and delivery nurse and midwife taught her to have a profound appreciation for the nuances of pregnancy and childbirth. Beyond the childbearing years, she is a champion for evidence-based women’s care throughout the lifespan. She recognizes that each woman has her own beliefs and values, so Dr. Simms always strives to listen intently to her patients and work with them to achieve the wellness goals they desire.

Dr. Nwegbo’s office is quick and efficient. There is no ridiculous wait time. Everyone in the office is pleasant and Dr. Nwegbo’s bedside manner is great! She’s very understanding and sympathetic and wastes no time helping to improve chances on your trying to conceive journey.
Facility was clean, nicely decorated lobby. Physician was very knowledgeable and informative. Dr.Banks has a welcoming, caring demeanor. Pleased with first visit.

Talk about a WOW experience. This group of professionals exhibited the golden standard for customer service from the front door to the exit. Everyone was warm-hearted and passionate about their job and it reflects a center of excellence. I am sooo glad I chose this place for a first time visit and a long time relationship. I would highly recommend Serenity! They took their time to get to know my history and evaluate my needs. They explained everything they were doing as the appointment progressed, and it was the best experience I've had at an OB/GYN by far!
