Dr. Woodbury is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. She is so wise, sensitive and knowledgeable and always takes plenty of time with each patient. She never makes you feel your questions are an intrusion and she also goShow morees the extra mile with her patients for any referrals to other doctors, even calling herself to get you in so you do not have to wait months to see them. That is a rarity and it means so much when you are dealing with other medical issues and you need immediate care. I am so grateful to her for the extraordinary medical care she provides and am grateful that my primary doctor referred me to her.

Emily Woodbury, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN physician at Mira Women’s Health & Midwifery in Boca Raton, Florida. She’s known for her comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology knowledge, compassionate patient care, and warm bedside manner.
Dr. Woodbury was born into a family of physicians and knew from age 4 that she wanted to study medicine. She graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, with a bachelor’s degree in international affairs and science. She attended medical school at Columbia University in New York City, New York, and earned several prestigious research awards.
Dr. Woodbury fell in love with obstetrics and gynecology while studying under some of the best OB/GYNs in the world and working with midwives in locations worldwide, including India, Ghana, and London. She flourished in the OB/GYN field and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Woodbury completed her OB/GYN residency at Cornell University in New York, earning additional certification in the da Vinci® robotic surgical system. She has many years of private practice experience treating women from all walks of life and has gained thousands of patients’ trust. She also delivered babies at Mount Sinai West Hospital in New York City.
At Mira Women’s Health & Midwifery, Dr. Woodbury offers comprehensive OB/GYN services, including well-woman exams, prenatal care, and diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), vaginitis, ovarian cysts, and uterine fibroids.
Dr. Woodbury is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She relocated to Boca Raton, Florida, in the summer of 2021 with her husband, an interventional pain specialist, and their two young children. Moving down to FL from Chicago I was scared to find another compassionate and thorough OB/Gyne like I had in Chicago but I am so happy I found Dr. Woodbury..she listens and is very thorough typically to the point where she asks if I have any other questions and I can’t think of one to ask. Excellent experience from preregistration to seeing the Dr. All staff were professional and courteous. Dr Woodbury was knowledgeable and informative and had a great “bedside” manner. I was very pleased with my experience.
I have been dealing with multiple problems from what I suspected to be Endometriosis for years. Whereas my past doctors only wanted to push me pills, Dr.Woodberry helped to confirm my diagnosis and recently remove my Endometriosis and I couldn't be happier. The office is also always neat and clean,and the wait time is short to reasonable. Highly recommend.

Dr. Woodbury was amazing. It was my first visit and I found her to be friendly, attentive and caring. After going over history and concerns she came up with a 3 month plan with a return appointment at that time. She’s extremely knowledgeable and up on all the latest interventions.
