About Dr. Eric Sterne, MD

About Dr. Sterne

Eric Sterne, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pain management physician at Louisiana Pain Specialists, with locations in Kenner, Metairie, Laplace, Baton Rouge, Marrero, and New Orleans, Louisiana. He is board-certified in pain management and physical medicine and rehabilitation.

 

Dr. Sterne received his undergraduate and medical degrees at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and fellowship training in pain management at LSU Health Sciences in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

 

Dr. Sterne specializes in minimally invasive and non-operative treatments for painful conditions involving the spine, joints, muscles, and nerves. He uses advanced interventional techniques, including ultrasound-guided and fluoroscopically guided injections, regenerative medicine procedures to stimulate natural healing, and neuromodulation. 

 

His compassionate demeanor and care reduces pain, optimizes musculoskeletal functioning, and improves quality of life for people of all ages.
