Erik Curtis, MD, is a distinguished Board Certified neurological surgeon providing comprehensive services to patients at Atlas Neurosurgery and Spine Center in Phoenix, AZ.. Dr. Curtis underwent extensive training in Neurosurgery and offers treatment and management of all medical conditions that affect the central and peripheral nervous system.
Dr. Curtis obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania in the Biological Basis of Behavior. This was followed by a graduate degree in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University. He then went on to complete Medical School at USC, where he graduated near the top of his class.
After medical school he went on to complete his Neurosurgical training at the University of California, San Diego. During training, he had a concentration in spinal surgery, minimally invasive spinal surgery, spinal fusion and stem cell transplantation for spinal cord injury. This was added to an already rigorous training background in cranial surgery, brain tumor surgery and intracranial pathology. Above all Dr. Curtis believes in an honest and forthcoming relationship with his patients.
