I recently visited First Smile Dental, and I must say that the entire staff was incredibly friendly, especially Dr. Kwon and Ruth. Although my appointment was running a bit late, they were very apologetic and attentive throughout.Show more Dr. Kwon was exceptionally kind, patient, and understanding. He took the time to explain all of my treatment options and even referred me to the best places to ensure my oral care needs were met. Ruth was also very kind and attentive. I'm thrilled that I chose First Smile Dental for my dental care needs.
My Experience was good. I really liked how the staff attended me fast, usually i have to wait a hours but this dentist really attended me as fast as they could. I do understand the little wait because they are attending other patiShow moreents. The process of cleaning my teeth was very quick as well as getting them checked. The staff was very nice to me as well as my brother, I would most definitely come back again!!!
Originally from Lima, Peru, Erika Mogrovejo, DDS, has built a career on diverse experiences and a dedicated, compassionate work ethic. With over 15 years of experience in the field, Dr. Mogrovejo has come to be a valued and integral member of the First Smile Dental team in Alexandria, Virginia, providing her patients with a wide range of dental services including restorations, veneers, bridges, teeth whitening, implants, crowns, fillings, and more.
Dr. Mogrovejo was originally inspired to pursue dentistry from a desire to serve her vast community of Lima, Peru. She completed her dental surgery degree in Peru, where she went on to work for over 10 years. Dr. Mogrovejo then moved to the United States to further her dental career, working as a dental assistant while completing her postdoctoral studies at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut.
Dr. Mogrovejo’s diverse background allows her to serve a wide patient base, from the very young to the very old. She has lived in Northern Virginia since 2011, proudly serving her community. When she isn’t working, Dr. Mogrovejo enjoys reading and hiking.
