There were several doctors seeing patients in the office the day of my appointment I settled in my seat thinking it was going to be a long afternoon because it was so busy. Dr Colarusso’s assistant Brittany came to escort be back Show moreto the office almost at my exact appointment time. I was being seen for follow up on my lower back pain but I was experiencing another problem. I started not to share it with Dr Colarusso because the office was busy and I thought I might slow them down or they would rush me through an evaluation. I was in pain so I shared it with him. Doc took the time listened and prescribed and issued a wrist brace for my carpal tunnel pain. The brace really helped and I am able to sleep without pain in my hand and fingers. I was there for my back and he took care of that, what I REALLY appreciated was he didn’t make me set up a second appointment to address the pain in my hand. Some doctors will only address the problem that you scheduled the appointment for. Doc saw that I was having pain in my hand as well as my back and took the time to help me deal with both. Frank Colarusso, DO, is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Mercer-Bucks Orthopaedics in Hamilton, Lawrenceville, and Princeton, New Jersey, and Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Colarusso maintains double-board certification, having recently recertified with both the American Medical Association, the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and the American Osteopathic Association. With an attention to detail and passion for continuing education, Dr. Colarusso is proud to provide comprehensive non-operative musculoskeletal, spine, and sports medicine.
He specializes in MSK neck and back pain, EMG services, acute and chronic pain syndromes with medication management, dry needling, Osteopathic Manual Manipulation treatments as well as ultrasound-guided injections, nerve blocks, and biologics.
After receiving honors at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania, Dr. Colarusso remained in Pennsylvania to intern at St. Barnabas Health Care System. He later was the chief resident in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Boston University Medical Center in Massachusetts.
