Dr. Jung is originally from the New York metro area. He graduated from the State University of New York Binghamton University before completing his medical education at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, in 2010.

After seeing the positive and life-changing impact of helping someone alleviate chronic pain, he decided to pursue a career in pain management. Therefore, he made a career move and began his anesthesia training at the Westchester Medical Center. Upon completing his residency, he began his pain management fellowship training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. After completing his fellowship in 2016, he became an attending physician at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania. While there, he was in charge of the neuromodulation program and the intrathecal pump program. With the use of intrathecal drug delivery, Dr. Jung was able to get patients off oral opioids while continuing to treat patients who required opioids in a safe, controlled manner that was physician-controlled.

Dr. Metzger completed his residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation (physiatry) at Temple University Hospital where he served as chief resident, followed by additional fellowship training in pain medicine at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
Dr. Metzger takes a holistic patient-centered approach to his care with a focus on palliating pain and restoring function. His goal is to use his knowledge and interventional skill set to give his patients their best shot at returning to a normal functional life, using all of the multi-modal disciplines, medications, modern technologies, and state of the art procedures available. He strives to encourage his patients to take an active role in their healthcare for ultimate long-term success and improved quality of life.
When not at work, Dr. Metzger lives an active lifestyle and enjoys exploring local hiking and running trails with his family. He is a proud father and husband. Jeremy Jaffe, MD, is a pain management physician at SEPA Pain & Spine in Horsham, Langhorne, and Chalfont, Pennsylvania. Dr. Jaffe joined the team in 1996.
Since then, he has gained a reputation as a patient listener and effective communicator while providing a thoughtful, considerate, compassionate and comprehensive approach toward chronic pain management. He enjoys the challenge of first establishing each patient's primary pain generator and then creating an individualized multimodal approach to reduce pain and improve quality of life.
Dr. Jaffe's areas of subspecialty interest include mechanical low back pain and opioid dependence counseling and treatment. Dr. Jaffe is also a registered provider of medical marijuana certification in Pennsylvania. He spent over 20 years helping to train medical students and anesthesia residents in his capacity as Director of Medical Education for United Anesthesia Services-Abington Division. Dr. Jaffe currently serves as Vice President and Director of Human Resources for SEPA Pain Management.
He is a graduate of Haverford College in Haverford, Pennsylvania. Dr. Jaffe received his medical school training at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. When not helping patients, Dr. Jaffe devotes a great deal of time to charitable causes, including his annual participation as co-chair for Rockin’ Docs for Diabetes Cure. His other interests include drumming, bicycling, playing tennis, and traveling.
Soon Jung, MD, is a pain management physician at SEPA Pain & Spine in Horsham, Langhorne, Chalfont, and Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania. He joined the team in 2021.
Dr. Jung is originally from the New York metro area. He graduated from the State University of New York Binghamton University before completing his medical education at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, in 2010.
He began his medical career as a neurosurgical resident at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. After completing multiple years of training, Dr. Jung realized that, unfortunately, many patients continued to have chronic pain despite surgery, and during his time there, he became exposed to chronic pain management under the tutelage of Dr. Andrew Kaufman.
After seeing the positive and life-changing impact of helping someone alleviate chronic pain, he decided to pursue a career in pain management. Therefore, he made a career move and began his anesthesia training at the Westchester Medical Center. Upon completing his residency, he began his pain management fellowship training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. After completing his fellowship in 2016, he became an attending physician at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania. While there, he was in charge of the neuromodulation program and the intrathecal pump program. With the use of intrathecal drug delivery, Dr. Jung was able to get patients off oral opioids while continuing to treat patients who required opioids in a safe, controlled manner that was physician-controlled.
He is double board-certified in anesthesia and pain management. Because of his neurosurgical background, he brings a unique skill set not found in most pain management physicians to SEPA Pain & Spine. He believes that every patient’s pain is unique and that treatment plans should be catered to the patient’s needs. He brings with him experience and knowledge in all areas of pain management, including medication management as well as minimally invasive procedures designed to treat chronic pain.
Dr. Jung now resides in the Blue Bell area and is married with three young children. He spends his free time combing the country for the newest and latest ways he can treat his patients. He feels blessed that he can truly say that for him, his work is his hobby.
