Daniel G. Areson, DO, MS, is a skilled osteopath provider specializing in neck, spine, and joint treatments at MidJersey Orthopaedics in Bridgewater and Washington, New Jersey.
Dr. Areson graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Dr Saurabh Dang is Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties. A graduate of Hamilton College, in Clinton, NY, Dr Dang completed his internship in General Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, NY. He then went on to receive his training in Anesthesiology at New York Medical College, in Valhalla, NY. During his Anesthesiology training, Dr Dang was elected and served as Chief Resident and received the “Resident of the Year Award” during his final year of training. He went on to complete a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at The University of Toledo, in Toledo, OH. He received his MBA from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
Since completing his training, Dr Dang has been in private practice in New Jersey. He has specialized in neuromodulation and the implementation of spinal cord stimulation and intrathecal drug delivery systems for the treatment of chronic pain. Lauren Gasparini DNP is a Nurse Practitioner at Garden State Pain & Orthopedics, specializing in pain and rehabilitation. Lauren received her Bachelor of Nursing degree at William Paterson University, and acquired her Doctor of Nursing Practice, Adult Nurse Practitioner from Rutgers University. Prior to completing her Doctor of Nursing program, Lauren was an orthopedic nurse for five years at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. Upon graduation, she immediately began her career as a pain management nurse practitioner.
Lauren was chosen to speak about Pain Management/Opioid Crisis at the Saint Barnabas Medical Center Nursing Excellence Conference in 2018. When asked what brought Lauren to the medical field, she responded " I had brain surgery as a child, and knew that I wanted to take care of others the way I was cared for during my recovery. I originally went to school/began a career in Business Marketing but knew something was always missing; causing me to pursue my dream of becoming a nurse."

Sanjay Shah, MD, is a pain management physician at SEPA Pain & Spine in Horsham, Langhorne, and Chalfont, Pennsylvania. He joined the team in 2006.

Philip Sasso, MD, is a pain management physician at SEPA Pain & Spine in Horsham, Langhorne, and Chalfont, Pennsylvania. Dr. Sasso has been a physician with SEPA Pain & Spine since its inception.
A lifelong Pennsylvanian, he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his internal medicine residency at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, his anesthesia residency at Thomas Jefferson University, and his pain management fellowship at Jefferson Pain Center.
Dr. Sasso is presently the Chairman of Anesthesia and Director of Pain Management Services at Abington Hospital-Jefferson Health. He has also served as a member of various committees at Abington Hospital and as a member of the Board of Trustees at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Sasso has also participated in numerous medical research projects and is a member of both the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Pennsylvania Society of Anesthesiologists.
Over his career, Dr. Sasso has employed a multimodal and empathetic approach to managing his patients' pain. Outside of the office, he enjoys time with his family, cooking, and, when time allows, an occasional round of golf or tennis.

Jeremy Jaffe, MD, is a pain management physician at SEPA Pain & Spine in Horsham, Langhorne, and Chalfont, Pennsylvania. Dr. Jaffe joined the team in 1996.
Since then, he has gained a reputation as a patient listener and effective communicator while providing a thoughtful, considerate, compassionate and comprehensive approach toward chronic pain management. He enjoys the challenge of first establishing each patient's primary pain generator and then creating an individualized multimodal approach to reduce pain and improve quality of life.
Dr. Jaffe's areas of subspecialty interest include mechanical low back pain and opioid dependence counseling and treatment. Dr. Jaffe is also a registered provider of medical marijuana certification in Pennsylvania. He spent over 20 years helping to train medical students and anesthesia residents in his capacity as Director of Medical Education for United Anesthesia Services-Abington Division. Dr. Jaffe currently serves as Vice President and Director of Human Resources for SEPA Pain Management.
He is a graduate of Haverford College in Haverford, Pennsylvania. Dr. Jaffe received his medical school training at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. After completing an internship at Abington Hospital, he completed his residency in anesthesiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where the majority of his subspecialty training was devoted to pain management.
When not helping patients, Dr. Jaffe devotes a great deal of time to charitable causes, including his annual participation as co-chair for Rockin’ Docs for Diabetes Cure. His other interests include drumming, bicycling, playing tennis, and traveling.

Soon Jung, MD, is a pain management physician at SEPA Pain & Spine in Horsham, Langhorne, Chalfont, and Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania. He joined the team in 2021.
Dr. Jung is originally from the New York metro area. He graduated from the State University of New York Binghamton University before completing his medical education at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, in 2010.
He began his medical career as a neurosurgical resident at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. After completing multiple years of training, Dr. Jung realized that, unfortunately, many patients continued to have chronic pain despite surgery, and during his time there, he became exposed to chronic pain management under the tutelage of Dr. Andrew Kaufman.
After seeing the positive and life-changing impact of helping someone alleviate chronic pain, he decided to pursue a career in pain management. Therefore, he made a career move and began his anesthesia training at the Westchester Medical Center. Upon completing his residency, he began his pain management fellowship training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. After completing his fellowship in 2016, he became an attending physician at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania. While there, he was in charge of the neuromodulation program and the intrathecal pump program. With the use of intrathecal drug delivery, Dr. Jung was able to get patients off oral opioids while continuing to treat patients who required opioids in a safe, controlled manner that was physician-controlled.
He is double board-certified in anesthesia and pain management. Because of his neurosurgical background, he brings a unique skill set not found in most pain management physicians to SEPA Pain & Spine. He believes that every patient’s pain is unique and that treatment plans should be catered to the patient’s needs. He brings with him experience and knowledge in all areas of pain management, including medication management as well as minimally invasive procedures designed to treat chronic pain.
Dr. Jung now resides in the Blue Bell area and is married with three young children. He spends his free time combing the country for the newest and latest ways he can treat his patients. He feels blessed that he can truly say that for him, his work is his hobby.
