James Moran, DO, is a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist at Coastal Spine, with locations in Mount Laurel, Sewell, Galloway, and Wall Township, New Jersey. Dr. Moran specializes in the non-surgical treatment of adult spine disorders.
Emphasizing a non-invasive approach to the care of painful spinal disorders, he will formulate a comprehensive treatment plan to suit the needs of the individual patient utilizing a thorough history, physical exam and diagnostic studies. When indicated, Dr. Moran also has over twenty years of experience in interventional pain management techniques including diagnostic and therapeutic spinal injection procedures.
Dr. Moran earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware followed by a medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - School of Osteopathic Medicine, now part of Rowan University. Philip Sasso, MD, is a pain management physician at SEPA Pain & Spine in Horsham, Langhorne, and Chalfont, Pennsylvania. Dr. Sasso has been a physician with SEPA Pain & Spine since its inception.
A lifelong Pennsylvanian, he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his internal medicine residency at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, his anesthesia residency at Thomas Jefferson University, and his pain management fellowship at Jefferson Pain Center.
Dr. Sasso is the former Director of Pain Management Services and the former Chairman of Anesthesia at Abington Hospital-Jefferson Health. He has also served as a member of various committees at Abington Hospital and as a member of the Board of Trustees at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Sasso has also participated in numerous medical research projects and is a member of both the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Pennsylvania Society of Anesthesiologists.
Over his career, Dr. Sasso has employed a multimodal and empathetic approach to managing his patients' pain. Outside of the office, he enjoys time with his family, cooking, and, when time allows, an occasional round of golf or tennis.
