Dr Colarusso is kind, on time for appts, and he REALLY KNOWS what it is he does! I would like to give him 10 stars. I came to him because I needed a physiatrist. I am really happy I picked him. And I feel sure he will be able Show moreto help me with the 2 or 3 problems I have. He was also very good with the EMG. When I went to him for the EMG, I was in so much pain (neuropathy in feet) that I didnt think I could do the EMG. He handled it so well. He got me some Alleve (I asked). And he was so understanding (I was really in pain). Lastly, that was my 4th EMG. Dr Colarusso did it so much better than the other 3 before because: 1) It was a lot less painful than the others 2) He explained what he was doing and answered all my questions. One more thing, the 2 physiatrists I went to in the past were not anything like Dr Colarusso; they just couldnt figure out was going on. And they absolutely could NOT adjust the parts of my body that needed it (my ribs were not in correct place that day causing a lot of pain). I am very happy to have cbosen him. By the way, he was the 4th or 5th doctor I have seen at Mercer Bucks Orthopedics. I have NEVER EVER been to a practice in which every doctor was amazing. I am absolutely telling all my friends and relatives to come to your practice. Thank you.
What a great professional caring doctor. Saw him on a Friday afternoon .He saw the seriousness of my condition and put me in the hospital that day to avoid further damage to my leg. By Monday I was in the operating room getting myShow more surgery. He spent the time to show me my test results and what to expect during and following my surgery which was more then just a routine procedure. Visited me before and after surgery .Spent time with me in hospital to make sure my pain was under control and that I was ok.We need more doctors like him that genuinely care about the patient and not just about the payout. Frank Colarusso, DO, is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Mercer-Bucks Orthopaedics in Hamilton, Lawrenceville, and Princeton, New Jersey, and Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Colarusso maintains double-board certification, having recently recertified with both the American Medical Association, the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and the American Osteopathic Association. With an attention to detail and passion for continuing education, Dr. Colarusso is proud to provide comprehensive non-operative musculoskeletal, spine, and sports medicine.
He specializes in MSK neck and back pain, EMG services, acute and chronic pain syndromes with medication management, dry needling, Osteopathic Manual Manipulation treatments as well as ultrasound-guided injections, nerve blocks, and biologics.
After receiving honors at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania, Dr. Colarusso remained in Pennsylvania to intern at St. Barnabas Health Care System. He later was the chief resident in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Boston University Medical Center in Massachusetts.

Dr. Colarusso is exactly what you should expect with an Orthopedic Doctor. He diagnosed my problem first by x-raying and then explaining the problem I have been experiencing. Dr Colarusso suggested tips to help reduce my soreness. His personality puts you at ease which helps with the office visit.

Dr Colarusso is exceptionally knowledgeable about back issues. Provides comprehensive treatment involving manipulation, exercise and medicine. He listens carefully and offers practical solutions. Dr Colarusso is on time and fast paced. Utilizes his assistant to provide timely access and feedback.
After care visit for a broken femur. Also discussed a problem with my knee on same leg. X-rays indicated a fluid build up. Doc offered some alternative treatments and probable cause & we decided to wait another week or two to see if it clears up or needs further treatment
