Dr Banna quite littered saved my live. I picked up a MRSA infection somewhere that settled in my heart. It chewed up a valve and when the valve started coming apart, it caused several strokes. I was being treated for the infectionShow more and had heart surgery scheduled for several day later when a massive part of the valve came off in the middle of the night, causing a massive stroke. Dr Banna was the doctor on call. He spent 5 hours with me in the surgery department of Banner Thunderbird hospital. He would not leave my side. After coming out of the hospital 45 days later, I made the choice to keep him as my cardiologist. He rocks. He genuinely cares. I have had to have an ablation, had multiple tests he has steered my through. Best part is I am still here and doing very well.
Dr. Singh is, hands-down, the best physician I have ever had, and I see a lot of specialists. He truly cares about your concerns, and never rushes you when you have questions. I met Dr. Singh in the hospital when I came through the ER and ended up in the cardiac icu back in 2018. I immediately knew he was special. He literally has given me my life, and peace-of-mind, back. I will never go to another electrophysiologist. He’s not allowed to retire, lol. I can promise anyone that they will not be disappointed by his bedside manner or skills as a surgeon. He is the absolute best.

Fred Cucher, MD, FACC, is an attentive and experienced cardiologist. He’s a proud member of the team of renowned physicians at Phoenix Heart, which has locations across the greater Phoenix area – Glendale, Goodyear, Scottsdale, Anthem, Cottonwood, and Black Canyon City, Arizona.
Dr. Cucher earned his medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago. He continued his medical training in Maywood, Illinois, where he completed a residency in internal medicine at Hines VA Medical Center and a fellowship in cardiology at Loyola University Medical Center. He’s a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a member of the American Society of Echocardiography, and is certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
In addition to treating patients at Phoenix Heart, Dr. Cucher serves as the practice’s medical director of clinical research and the director of its echocardiographic lab. He also gives back to his field of practice by educating the cardiologists of tomorrow as a preceptor at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.
