Today was an off day for her. Dr Knuckles unexpectedly busted into the room during the screening and was unprofessional. Additionally she addressed me as “the woman” might or might not return. She didn’t realize her web camera wasShow more still on from the other room so I saw and heard her. As a YouTuber and educator I instantly start voice recorded on my iPhone and then video a small portion. When she returned to the room I told her I heard her talking about me and she apologized. I also let her know that it was unprofessional but since I don’t know her to be like that, I figured she was having a bad day. Apparently she was having a hard time with her staff and was running behind. She a very good gyno so I would still recommend her but she needs to handle her staff out of the ear of patients and do not allow patients to feel as if she’s unprofessional. If I didn’t know her I probably would give a 1 star but I’m giving her 2 because I’ve seen her before and she’s great at her job.
At last I’ve found a medical provider in Greenville where I feel at home, where the providers really listen, and I’m cared for from the moment I enter until long after I leave. Moving here after seeing a solo practitioner in FL, IShow more did not acclimate to the doctors I first saw in Winterville/ Greenville who were all affiliated with one of two huge providers in this area. It was all rush, rush, rush—I felt like part of an assembly line. Caleb is fabulous. He listened to all my questions and answered them. It was a complete exam, full referrals to relevant specialists and willingness to work with those I liked and referrals to any I needed. The entire team—reception to nurses to everyone else I met—is a delight. The office is inviting, clean, and easy to reach from across town. And everybody is helpful and kind. I’m so happy to have found Carolina Clinic, and already recommended Caleb to my husband, daughter, future son-in-law, and my sister-in-law, as well as on my neighborhood Facebook group. That’s how awesome I find this practice to be.
Gwendolyn Knuckles, MD, is an expert obstetrician/gynecologist and part of the team at Carolina Clinic for Health and Wellness. She provides excellent patient-centered care at the practice, which is in Greenville, North Carolina.

I started going to Dr. Knuckles in 2023 based on the reviews I saw online. The reviews were on point because she is great. She's truly concerned about her patients and she's very knowledgeable. I love how she takes the time to explain and answer my ((many)) questions. The office staff always greets patients with a smile. For me, that is just as important as the care received from the doctor.

Dr. Knuckles is an outstanding doctor who takes time to explain medical terms/examinations/procedures to her patients and addresses well care options as well.

The two providers that I have seen there seemed attentive, detailed and I really liked them. However, the waiting time is unreal and you probably have to plan to be there at least 3 hours.
