Another wonderful experience with this practice. I have never really liked the dentist due to most of them not really being gentle, but Dr. Park is hands down THE BEST dentist if you have fears about the dentist. While I haven't been seen by any other dentist at this practice yet, I am pretty confident that they all use the same high level of care. Everyone from the front office staff to the dentist and dental assistant are very nice. I absolutely love it and am finally don't have near as much anxiety when it comes to dental appointments.

Hong-Anh Tran, DMD, is a highly skilled and experienced dentist with a passion for oral hygiene. She provides patients with the best possible care at Albemarle Dental Associates, located in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Dr. Tran graduated from the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, with a Dean's Award in recognition of clinical and academic excellence.
She went on to complete a general practice residency at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio, and is a current member of the American Dental Association.
In addition to general dentistry, Dr. Tran has experience treating patients with complex medical needs and coordinating care with the medical team to ensure patients receive comprehensive treatment to optimize both systemic and oral health.
Outside of the dental clinic, Dr. Tran enjoys creating art, playing piano, cooking, and learning new languages.

Dr. Tran is amazing. Her bedside manner and ability to field my questions was uncanny. She is very friendly and reassuring. I had two fillings with zero pain afterward, no medication necessary. Would recommend to any and all!

Cozy little dentist office, Dr. Park was kind, worked efficiently, and didn’t ask questions while dental tools were in my mouth. They cleaned my retainers and gave me a welcome gift. Overall great experience would recommend

This is first time in many years that I required no adjustment nor time to adapt to a new denture. It speaks to Dr. Park’s skill and determination in getting it right the first time. She was meticulous throughout. She was also patient and caring when my illness temporarily interrupted the process.

Dr. Tran is by far the best dentist I’ve ever been to! She’s extraordinarily comprehensive and informative and really takes an interest in her patients. The practice itself is super friendly and I am very sad to be moving away from Charlottesville since I’ll be losing them.

Efficient cheerful experience
I usually hate going to the dentist, but Dr. Park is so gentle and reassuring. Each time I have gone it has been a virtually pain free visit. Definitely the best dental experience I've ever had.

I've been having dental care at Albemarle Dental Associates for about 4 years now. For the first about 2-3 years, Dr. Hodges did cavity treatment and all others. And for the remainder, I've been seeing Dr. Tran, and she was also very helpful and kind! Of course, all the staff are very kind, too. I have Aetna student health insurance, and it is affordable, too! I definitely recommend Albemarle Dental Associates.

Dr. Tran always does a great job! I happen to be very anxious when I am at the dentist, but Dr. Tran and her amazing staff do a great job at helping to relax me. I have had other dentists in the past who make the entire appointment painful and increase my anxiety, however that doesn’t happen with Dr. Tran! I would highly recommend her and Albemarle Dental Associates to those who have dental anxieties! Best dentist ever!!
Best dental experience I've ever had.
The front office person, I think her name was Chris, was the best part of this experience. Super nice. Dentist was efficient in teeth cleaning and spent zero time chattering. All business, no frills…which I kind of like in that it isn’t the easiest time to converse. But I would have liked a little more explanation of a few of the procedures prior to them being popped on me before any discussion.
I appreciate how Dr. Tran values my Feedback. And she respects my decisions and sensitivities.
Dr. Tran and her team provide top-tier quality care. They always make me feel comfortable and safe while I am in the chair and quickly respond to my needs. Moreover, Tran et al provide and communicate a solid treatment plan. Finally, Dr. Tran is always open to my questions and answers them to my satisfaction. What a great dental care team!
Friendly, thorough, and easy.
Dr. Tran is great!! She’s very knowledgeable, so nice, and gentle. I was glad to learn from her some things I didn’t know about how one of my prescriptions can affect my teeth. I also really liked the Dental Technician, Elizabeth. Her skill with x-rays and her patient care are tops.
