Dr. Tetro is one of the most caring, thoughtful and wonderful doctors I have ever met. I moved from Queens to Long Island 3 years ago, and could easily find a doctor that is closer. Ida Tetro, MD, DO, is a board-certified primary care physician serving the community of Forest Hills in Queens, New York City at 112 GVR Medical P.C. For over 15 years, Dr. Tetro has dedicated her time to enhancing the health of her patients and helping them live more vibrant and more fulfilling lives.
Dr. Tetro earned her medical degree at the College of Osteopathic Medicine at the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, New York. She then completed her residency in family medicine at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Queens. Dr. Tetro is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, and the New York State Osteopathic Medical Society. She is fluent in English and Russian and can deliver outstanding care to patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
