5 stars is not enough. Dedication, caring, kind. Is what I could describe. Dr. Irelis Rodriguez. She was my Primary doctor 7 years ago. Due to changes on my Insurance .I could not continue seeing her. However, she still cared for Show moremy Health. Will follow up to see how was my condition. Now, wherever she goes I will go. I will do all the necessary changes on my Health Insurance , just to have her back as my Primary Care Physician. Will recommend her 100%.

Irelis Rodriguez Castro, MD, is a primary care doctor at NextHealth Care providing high-quality care with a functional medicine approach to individuals and families in Debary, Florida, and throughout Volusia County.
She studied at the University of Puerto Rico, earning her undergraduate degree in biology. Then she enrolled at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, Jalisco, México, and obtained her medical degree. Before entering private practice, she completed medical internship training in Puerto Rico.
At NextHealth Care, Dr. Rodriguez diagnoses and treats various acute and chronic health conditions using a modern medicine and functional medicine approach that works to identify the root cause of disease rather than simply masking symptoms.
Dr. Rodriguez speaks English and Spanish fluently. She’s certified in IV nutrition therapy, hormone therapy, bioenergetics, cardiometabolic and gastrointestinal health from The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).
Dr. Rodriguez is a member of the Florida Medical Association (FMA), Pan-American Medical Association of Central Florida (PAMA), The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), and El Colegio de Médicos Cirujanos de Puerto Rico.
