After many years with my doctor, he has retired, and I needed someone new. This time I decided I would ask to see a woman to discuss some problems I felt easier to talk about with a stranger who was also a woman. I cannot say enouShow moregh about how at ease I was. From the minute Dr. Hungerford walked into the room, I was put at ease. She listened, and asked questions about me. I feel a trust in her, and hopefully a long doctor/patient relationship in the future.
I have been going to The Association for Women's Healthcare for about 5 years now and have not been disappointed. I have seen multiple doctor's as my original doctor moved away. Everyone has been extremely friendly and makes the eShow morexperience as comfortable as possible. The only reason I gave this review 4 stars is I typically have to wait close to 45 minutes to see a doctor every time I have an appointment. This makes getting away from work and back difficult in the middle of the day.
Ivy-Lou Iraula, MSN, WHCNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner with more than a half-decade of experience in women’s health care. She sees patients at The Association for Women’s Health Care’s location in The Loop area of Chicago, Illinois.
Ivy-Lou began her professional education at Loyola University Chicago, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing. Following graduation, she enrolled at the University of Illinois at Chicago and obtained her Master of Science in the women’s health nurse practitioner and midwifery program.
