Dr. Khaira came of as being attentive and present during our initial check up. He provided referrals + recommendations for all issues I expressed. My check out process seemed a little rushed, and I had to ask for more info on thinShow moregs that should have been explained such as: if I was prescribed anything and where to get it. Overall it was a positive experience and I look forward to developing the relationship.

Jagmohan S. Khaira, MD, founded Marina Village Medicine in Alameda, California, on the premise that building a strong relationship between a patient and their primary care doctor is at the core of getting and maintaining excellent medical care. For him, taking the time to get to know his patients is time well spent, which ultimately leads to the best outcomes.
Dr. Khaira is board certified in internal medicine and began his career as a medical student at Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica. Upon graduation, he completed a residency at MetroHealth Medical Center, a leading teaching hospital of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland. Dr. Khaira completed his postdoctoral clinical training at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California. He is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association.
Dr. Khaira is an avid sports fan. When he isn’t practicing medicine, he enjoys playing soccer with his children, watching the Golden State Warriors basketball team, and researching football trivia.
