Dr. Hurt was wonderful! The whole experience would have been even better if we didn't have to drive 83 miles each way each time I needed to see him. He took the time to answer any questions I had, which explains the wait from tShow moreime to time since he obviously gives all his patients all the time they need (which is a good thing). My last visit I waited in the exam room for about an hour (which is ok under the circumstances), but by the time he got there, I was tired and couldn't remember all that I needed to talk to him about. I had very little pain from the surgical procedure and the incisions are healing so quickly! I was happy that he was agreeable to using glue on the incisions rather than staples or stitches. I had very little pain because of this. I would recommend Dr. Hurt to anyone needing this type of surgery!! What I would not recommend is the hospital that we chose to use. I am not from the area, so I didn't know anything about the area hospitals. The surgical team was great, but the staff that was supposed to take care of me once I went to a room was subpar!
I had an appointment a few days ago..but forgot it. The girl who helped me make the appointment assured me thar she would send a reminder text and the directions to the office. I have not heard a word. I called three times and lShow moreeft a message requested that Dr replace oxibutin with something else. For weeks I tried to contact your office. No answer. When I left messages, I got Zero response. Dr Hurt prescribed Vesicare to replace the Oxibutin. I have take. Vesicare in the past. It does not help. It works less than. The oxibutin. Over the years I have taken everything imagineable...no help. The surgery did not take care of the problem. As you might understand I am saddened and disappointed. Now there is no medicine to take cars of this. And I cannot get any answer or response from anyone in the office. I am just so weary of this situation. And when I can't get an answer to my phone messages..it just multiplies the frustration.

Everyone who friendly & patient. But I really don't like listening to & talking to a computer every time I called. Trying to talk to a person is a very long process.

Dr Hurt is very personable and kind! I looked for help for years in Fort Smith and I finally made my needs known and asked my PA for help even if it meant leaving town, I would! Her referral was the best thing that happen to me! In fact, I’m probably sending too many referrals.

He took his time and answered all my questions. Much more assertive regarding my treatment than other doctor I saw before, which I appreciated.

Dr. Hurts has offered a solution to a very serious problem in my life. Incontinence is much more than annoying, it has altered my life and made it unbearable at times. My pants and shoes get soaked as well as anything else that is next to me such as my bed, the car seat, the chair etc. It is for this reason that I am taking a gamble that the wire mesh he puts in me will work to alleviate my symptoms.
He took the time to listen to me. A lot of doctors just rush you through and don’t listen to you anymore. I felt like he was interested in helping me figure out what’s going on and not just assuming what is wrong to rush me out.
Excellent doctor and staff!! Fixed my prolapsed bladder and rectum through robotic surgery and used glue instead of sutures on incisions which healed quickly and painlessly! I also have very little urinary urgency, which is a big plus!! I can now sleep 6-7 hours without having to get up in the night!! I’m a happy camper!! So pleased!
