About Dr. Jason Jarvis, DO

Dr. Jarvis completed his residency at the McAlester Regional Family Medicine Residency Program in Oklahoma, where he served as Chief Resident—an honor that reflects his leadership and dedication to patient care. 

A proud fourth-generation Arizonan, Dr. Jarvis is grateful to be back in the Valley of the Sun, serving the families of his home state. Born and raised in Mesa, he earned his Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Biochemistry from Arizona State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Following his undergraduate studies, he conducted proteomics research at the ASU Biodesign Institute, contributing to multiple published papers on cancer and diabetes. He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. 

Dr. Jarvis welcomes patients of all ages and backgrounds. His experience as a medical Spanish interpreter allows him to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients. In addition to family medicine, his professional interests include healthcare technology, geriatrics, wound care, nutrition, and herbal medicine. 

Outside of medicine, Dr. Jarvis enjoys surfing, camping, practicing jiu-jitsu, working on cars, gardening, and landscaping. Above all, he treasures time spent with his family, which remains his greatest source of joy and inspiration.
