I felt very comfortable as a patient here. The office was very clean and I didn’t wait very long before my name was called. The doctors were very polite and professional. I was able to ask all of my questions and I didn’t feel likShow moree I was rushed or unimportant. They were very informative and they took the time to teach me my bones and muscles proper name, so that I can explain where my pain is. I learned how to strengthen my muscles and ways to avoid future injuries which was exactly what I needed. Thank you
I love how efficient the entire practice was. My check in was smooth. My wait time in the lobby was almost no existent. Bernadette came in the room less than 5 mins of me being in the room and addressed all of my concerns and issuShow morees. Dr. Mahajan did the same and they both were warm, attentive, and had great bedside manners. The front desk staff were all equally nice and friendly.
Jay Mahajan, DO, is a board-certified neurologist at Las Vegas Neurology Center. He has resided in Las Vegas, Nevada, for over ten years. Born and raised on the West coast, he has anchored himself in Nevada and is dedicated to serving the Las Vegas community.
Dr. Mahajan was selected to be a member of the University of California at San Francisco's biomedical internship program at a young age, sparking his interest in medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California at Berkeley University and University of Southern California in biological sciences and biomedical ethics, where he was on the Dean’s list and a member of the Biology Scholar’s Program.
After achieving his undergraduate degree, Dr. Mahajan relocated to Nevada where he received his medical degree at Touro University Nevada. Upon completion of medical school here in the Valley, Dr. Mahajan felt invested in the Las Vegas community. Devoted to maintain his medical services, he accepted a position in the neurology residency program at the Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas where he served as Chief Resident. He was awarded Resident of the Year honors in addition to awards for service excellence during his residency.
He is co-founder of Las Vegas Neurology Center and the primary neurologist for Centennial Hills Hospital. He was nominated and elected by his peers to serve as a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Centennial Hills Hospital. In January 2016, he was selected as Outstanding Physician at Centennial Hill Hospital. He is also core faculty for the Neurology Residency Program at the Valley Hospital Medical Center, where he thoroughly enjoys teaching residents and medical students. Practicing medicine and teaching is one of Dr. Mahajan’s greatest passions. During his free time he also enjoys reading, exercising, and traveling.
Dr. Mahajan was awarded the Top Doctor Award for Top Neurologist 2016-2017 & Vegas Top Doctors 2020.

!I don’t know what I was afraid of ! I was able to see things brighter and clearer than ever before! Left eye done next! What a wonderful thing to be able to see far away clearly! No glasses!!!!!!(just for reading). I can’t express what a wonderful job that Dr. M. Did!!!!!!! Cataract surgery us as easy as 1,2,3!!!

Dr is so compassionate and understanding he was my first neurologist and took time for me when I first found out I had ms I spent a lot of time in the hospital but he always explained everything to me. I moved back out to the west coast and finally got to see him what a wonderful person he still is.
Everything went really well, office was busy, but patients were able to get into the Doctor in a timely and organized manner.
I had a translator to communicate with the doctors. I’ve a few tests scheduled and a follow up appointment. Everyone was kind, helpful, and caring.
