I had cataract surgery and a Pan Optix IOL placed in each eye in the last month or so. I had prayed about this and Jesus has answered my prayer. Dr. Berryman did a professional job. Wish that they had told me that the appointment would be so long. The actual treatment was a few minutes as told to me correctly, however all the pre paperwork and prep was over an hour. Fortunately, I did not have another appoiShow morentment scheduled, which I often do because I live a distance from Missoula and try to block time to take care of all my “city” stuff together.
Jefferson Berryman, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist on the team at Rocky Mountain Eye Center. He provides care for patients at the practice's office in Missoula, Montana.
Dr. Berryman graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and biochemistry from Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma. He earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated with special distinction for finishing in the top 5% of his class. While in medical school, he was also elected into the Gold Humanism and Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Societies.
Dr. Berryman completed his transitional internship with the Colorado Health Foundation in Denver, Colorado, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the University of California, Davis in Sacramento. During his training, he co-authored multiple scientific papers and presented research at several national meetings. He then completed an advanced fellowship in glaucoma, cataract, and complex anterior segment surgery with Minnesota Eye Consultants in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dr. Berryman is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He specializes in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, cataract surgery, and anterior segment surgery.
Dr. Berryman has a passion for community outreach and has participated in medical outreach trips to Haiti, Honduras, and Mexico. When he’s not treating patients, Dr. Berryman likes to spend time with his wife, hike, ski, and play tennis.

Everyone was friendly thought out the whole experience Dr Berryman answered all my questions and did a great job.
Dr B delivered not such good news, amidst diminished QofL articulation by me, in a digestible and processible way, offering needed info with neither unusable sunshine, nor impersonal detachment..information was worth our time, thank you.

So far so good. Just operated on today so jury is still out. Considering that, the experience was pretty much as expected. Dr. Berryman was professional and efficient. As were all the staff. Still feels like I have sand in my eye but tomorrow will be better.

I had a 9:00 AM appointment and did not even get to see the doctor until 10:45. This was far too long. Some folks have other appointments they need to get to. No explanation as to why we were so behind schedule.

It is distressing to find out about the progress of my glaucoma, but I am thankful to have drops available to help or to delay the progression of the problem and to have Dr. Berryman, a kind and knowledgeable doctor available to me.
