I never knew of this office before, but needed PCP f/U visit, since my PCP all of the sudden closed her office and I was left with No PCP. I was seen by Dr Jeffrey Tun for first time today. I was amazed by so thorough evaluation oShow moref PA, such gentle and kind medical assistance. I am very impressed by professional set up of office and whole system of there operation. It’s 1 MD -Dr Jeffrey Tun in the office and because of that you feel like it’s so private/personal doctor. Dr came to review EKG result, spoke about ongoing possibilities, was very caring, knowledgeable. This is the 3-rd MD for past 6 months and usually I do not write a review. But today’s service and whole accommodation was unbelievably supportive. Whole day I just can’t stop recommending this MD today and it’s only my 1-st day of recommending. Every office representative was SO polite, especially PA, wow. I wish we would have more doctors and doctor offices like this.
Experience was great, just don’t understand why I was called in and had to pay $20 co-pay for him to tell me everything looks good when I seen the results on the lab reports prior to coming in. In addition, I was told that i couldShow more call in once i received the results to see if i needed to report to the office, upon calling the office they told me i had to come in, i get there and Dr. tells me my results are good, now i have to pay $20

Prior to his medical training, Dr. Tun graduated from the State University of New York at Albany with a bachelor's degree in psychology. During his undergraduate studies, he was very involved in the university's peer counseling program for many years, helping students with mental health challenges.
After graduating, Dr. Tun briefly worked in finance at companies, including Morgan Stanley and J.P.Morgan, before ultimately deciding to pursue medicine. His medical studies began at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, in Stony Brook, New York, as a post-baccalaureate, where he excelled academically in all of his science courses. During that time, Dr. Tun served as a teaching assistant in general chemistry as well as molecular and cellular biology. He also volunteered his time at the Stony Brook University Medical Center's Pediatric Oncology Clinic.
Dr. Tun earned his medical degree in 2011 from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indes. He completed his subsequent residency in internal medicine at the Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, which is affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College, in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the Bronx. Dr. Tun is a recent graduate of a fast-paced, busy inner-city hospital within New York City with a large, diverse patient population affected by an array of complex conditions.
Dr. Tun's experiences include both outpatient and inpatient medical management. He has rotated in many specialty clinics within his residency program and has experience working in cardiology, pulmonology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, hematology-oncology, nephrology, neurology, dermatology, infectious diseases, geriatrics, and anesthesia. Dr. Tun also has extensive experience using point-of-care ultrasound, including to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the heart and lungs. As a recent graduate, he is up-to-date with the latest medical treatment available to his patients.
Dr. Tun's medical training has also been enriched by his involvement in medical research. During his time at Stony Brook University, he was a senior research associate at Stony Brook School of Medicine, coordinating and facilitating clinical research studies within the Emergency Medicine department of Stony Brook Medical Center. During medical school, he was a research associate within the Albert Einstein College of Medicine - Montefiore Medical Center, located in the Morris Park neighborhood of the Bronx. There, he analyzed patient data as a part of a multi-center research study to help improve the medical management of patients with sickle cell disease.
Throughout his residency training, Dr. Tun was a Quality Improvement Project Leader in association with Weill Cornell Medical College at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center. His project studied the clinical practices of clinician's management of cirrhotic patients in terms of spontaneous bacterial peritonitis prophylaxis. Through his research and the implementation of his findings, he was able to improve the condition of cirrhotic patients.

Dr. Tun is one of those doctors who thoroughly goes through your results and any question / concern you may have. There is a wait time because he is this way with his patients, but for me to have this level of detail is worth it. It’s hard to find a great doctor like Dr. Tun and I’m so glad I did!

Very satisfied with the annual physical exam I had with Dr. Tun. Reviewed my medical history offering suggestions and did a thorough physical exam. Explained what bloodwork I needed and explained the results of my EKG. Never rushed for time and has a kind manner. The office staff was helpful and pleasant. The nurse who did my bloodwork and EKG was friendly and competent. Highly recommend.

Always a great experience with the nurses and DR Tun. The only thing that I will give one star to the front desk, since I been a patient here . Front desk staff need hospitality training. They need to show kindness and patience The ladies don’t look presentable. They should look polish.
