Dr Purser listens to my concerns. After having BCC and Mohs in 2019, my follow up appointments were canceled during the pandemic at Wilford Hall in San Antonio. Shortly after, I made a new patient appointment at Hill Country DeeShow morematology and I have been seeing Dr Purser ever since. I asked about topical chemotherapy, which I do annually now. I am also starting to use a retinol cream and SPF daily as well. I couldn’t ask for better care. Highly recommend Dr Purser!
Very competent skilled. Sharp eyesight. On visual exam he spots what needs to be frozen off and what needs a biopsy. If needed you will be referred to a surgeon to cut the bad tissue out before it progresses to a potentially moreShow more serious condition. He is fast and does not cause pain on his biopsy work. Dr. Purser was born in San Antonio, Texas, and raised on a small family ranch in Karnes City, Texas. He received a Bachelor of Science in animal science at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Dr. Purser then continued his education at the university, completing his medical degree and graduating valedictorian from his medical school class. He then completed a dermatology residency at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, where he was named chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Purser treats hair, skin, and nail diseases with a special interest in general and surgical dermatology. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, and various outdoor activities in his free time.

Dr. Pursher is very thorough in examining me, takes his time going thru an examination and is never n a hurry. I’ve had other dermatologists over the years and he has been far better than any of them.

Dr. Purser and Calla were personable and kind. Calla made sure I knew what to do and Dr. Purser was efficiently thorough and set my mind at ease regarding a couple areas of concern.
