Dr. D is very easy to talk to and really understands endometriosis. It’s the first time I felt heard about my symptoms and not crazy! I left his office feeling confident and knew I wanted him doing my surgery.
Everyone in the office was very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Dulemba was very thorough in his explanation of the surgery, and answered all of our questions. He took the time to ease any worries we had about the surgery.
John F. Dulemba, MD, FACOG is a world-renowned, board-certified gynecologist who’s considered to be one of the leading experts worldwide in state-of-the-art da Vinci® robotic surgery. He improves the lives of women who come to him for care at The Women’s Centre in Denton, Texas with a wide variety of innovative, minimally invasive surgeries using the da Vinci, as well as other top-of-the-line, supportive treatments. His specialties include alleviating endometriosis, adhesions, and pelvic pain, and only provides services for those problems.
A former helicopter pilot for the United States Army, Dr. Dulemba earned his MD at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then completed his OB/GYN residency at West Penn Hospital, in Pittsburgh, PA.
Dr. Dulemba is committed to ongoing education and sharing his knowledge as a national and international lecturer. A published author, Dr. Dulemba also serves as the medical adviser to the Endometriosis Association, and is a peer reviewer for the Endometriosis.org website that is part of the World Endometriosis Society. In 2007, he presented the “Sir Alec Turnbull Lecture” on robotics at the British Society of Gynecologic Endoscopists (BSGE), where he was named a lifetime member. He also performed live robotic surgery for the inaugural meeting of the British Irish Association of Robotic Gyaenocologic Surgeons (BIARGS), and became a lifetime member.
His reputation as an innovator attracts women from around the world to The Women’s Centre for expert and cutting-edge treatments. He always takes time to educate his patients on the therapies they receive so that they understand each step of their journey toward wellness.
Dr. Dulemba was active in the Texas Medical Association as a Delegate, and served on various Boards and Committees, such as the Council for Public Health, the Council for Socioeconomics, and the Perinatal and Maternal Healthcare committee, and TMA Special Task Force on Teenage Pregnancy Prevention. He’s a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Endometriosis Association, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopist, the International Society of Gynecologic Endoscopists, and the Denton County Medical Society (Past President).
As a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Dulemba is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He’s often known to enter the operating room dressed in his Steeler attire.
