Dr khoury has been completely kind extremely competent and gone above and beyond for my dad. He was in the hospital recently and she came to see him and check on his leg while he was in there. I don't know her very many podiatristShow mores that would do that. She is extremely knowledgeable and delightful to talk to. I am forever grateful that she came to Utah. My dad's wound on his leg healed faster than it ever has before thanks to her care.
Was able to register as a new patient online, saving time once i got to the office. Once there, personable staff and a short wait time gave me hope. Dr. Peterson was amazing, doing a exam of my issue and quickly letting me know whShow moreat was wrong and what I could do to ease my discomfort. (arthritis). I have been to two other foot and ankle clinics in the area (3 different doctors) and this one is a keeper!
John Mytych, DPM, FACFAS, is a board-certified podiatrist serving patients at St. Mark's and South Ogden, Utah, office of Advanced Foot & Ankle Center.
Dr. Mytych is a Polish American born and raised in the Chicagoland area. He earned degrees in biology and theology, a high school teaching certificate, and played NCAA Division I soccer while attending Quincy University in Illinois. Following a six-year career teaching chemistry and coaching soccer, he went on to pursue a career in podiatric medicine.
Dr. Mytych earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, and completed his surgical residency at Riverside Mercy Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. In the two decades since, Dr. Mytych returned to Illinois to practice podiatry, initially in a group practice, then operating his own successful private practice and working in a hospital-based wound treatment center.
He has been a career-long member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and an unflinching advocate of putting the patient first.
Dr. Mytych and his wife have traveled to many places but often find themselves returning to the mountains. Their first trip to Utah was in 2000, and they returned to Utah 30 times before making Ogden their home in 2020. Skiing and hiking are some of their favorite activities, but even a daily walk with the dogs with Ben Lomond and Mt. Ogden in view makes the mundane special.
Dr. Mytych is very pleased to have found the “right group” to help bring high-quality foot and ankle care to patients in the Ogden area.
