Neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist Jonathan Eskenazi, MD, provides personalized, attentive patient care at the Neurological Institute of Los Angeles. At the private medical practice, with locations in Beverly Grove and throughout Los Angeles, Maywood, and Glendale, California, Dr. Eskenazi works closely with patients, their families, and their physicians to establish trusting relationships and ensure optimal care.
In 2011, Dr. Eskenazi earned his medical degree at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. Dr. Eskenazi became board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 2017.
Dr. Eskenazi is a well-rounded neurologist with in-depth training in clinical neurophysiology, neuro-stimulation for Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, traumatic brain injuries, and management of acute stroke. Dr. Eskenazi is part of the stroke team at Cedars-Sinai. He is affiliated with Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, Dignity Health-California Hospital Medical, Olympia Medical Center, and Barlow Respiratory Medical Center.
To better serve his patients, Dr. Eskenazi is fluent in English, Hebrew, and Spanish.

Office staff is extremely unprofessional and unable to answer any questions I had about scheduling or anything in general. There’s a lot of back and forth with this office to schedule an appointment and there is too much pressure for phone appointments. No in-person or virtual. PHONE. When it comes to the time of the appointment, there is no call or follow-up from the doctor. Avoid at all costs! Previous reviews on this page must be fake. Look at their Yelp page and you’ll see actual reviews from actual patients who experienced the same thing I did.

My time was wasted going in. I had prescriptions never sent to my pharmacy, on my next appointment I was told to continue the medication. What medication??? It was never sent. Plus my appoinment took less than 5 minutes but I waited for over an hour to see someone. 2 times, different lady practitioner. Now I get messages that I have an appointment with out consulting me if I’m free and who ever is suppose to call doesn't call. From other reviews, I am not the only one dealing with this. Very disappointed
My experience with neurology institute has been really good it's taken until now that I actually have gotten answers and my epilepsy has improved tremendously.

Worst institute ever, last year try to make an appoinment and gave up then yesterday while i was in phisical theraphy they call, nobody told or text about this ghost appoinment when i call back they said dr. Will call you back, i ask when maybe next year perhaps this place is the worst in communication and ethics .
