I had a lapiplasty procedure with Dr. Smedley a few months ago and I'm happy with the results! He was very professional and informative throughout the entire process, and he made me feel very comfortable. He took the time to answeShow morer all of my questions and explain everything to me in detail. I also appreciated that he was realistic about the timeline for healing. He told me that it would take about 6 weeks for my foot heal so I can walk without a boot on and to be able to return to my normal activities (in about 3 months). I would highly recommend Dr. Smedley to anyone considering a lapiplasty procedure. He's a great doctor and he does amazing work. Overall, I had a great experience with Dr. Smedley and his team. I recently saw Dr. Smedley to help me with a wound resulting from a vascular issue I have with my foot, as well as painful lesions under toes on each foot. The treatment he recommended for the lesions was extremely effective and rShow moreesolved the problem quickly. Regarding the wound on my foot, he immediately reached out to my vascular surgeon and collaborated with the surgeon, which resulted in this problem being eliminated immediately upon my next surgical visit. Dr. Smedley is extremely professional, very personable and easy to speak with. He also was genuinely interested in resolving my problems quickly, which is just what he did. I would recommend him to anyone requiring the services of a highly trained and extremely well credentialed podiatrist!
Jon Smedley, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist at Precision Podiatry, with three locations, in Round Rock, Cedar Park, and the River Place neighborhoods of Austin, Texas.
After graduating from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Smedley earned his medical degree from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio, where he served as student director of clinical affairs. Dr. Smedley then completed his residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Akron General Medical Center, where he became the chief resident during his second year.
Currently, Dr. Smedley also sees patients at Cedar Park Regional Medical Wound Care Center, where he serves as the medical director. He also lectures regularly and is considered an expert in evaluating and treating wounds that have difficulty healing. Dr. Smedley brings his vast knowledge and adept skillset to Precision Podiatry.

Dr. Smedley has a wonderful, kind, understanding bed-side manner. He explained everything as he worked on my feet. I had come in rather anxious and he put my fears to rest and solved my problem. I would recommend him to anyone. His staff was also kind and courteous.
It was good. This time no many pacientes so I didn’t wait too much
4.5 I ended up waiting 35-40 minutes to be seen. However once the provider was able to see me it was very quick. He listened to me, he came up with a plan that i very much agree with and went about it in a way that took into consideration that I am self pay. I am grateful for my visit and look forward to the next. Definitely recommend.

After my accident and Dr. Smedley put all of the bones in my ankle back together I am on my way to recovery and still have a long way to go. So far he has me convinced that he actually knows what he is doing. He and his staff have always been friendly and helpful at each and every visit.
