Jong Gill Ahn, DDS, is a highly skilled and good-natured dentist providing quality care for men and women at Ridgecrest Dentistry in Ridgecrest, California. Dr. Ahn specializes in cosmetic, restorative, and general dentistry and provides a range of services from teeth whitening and veneers to same-day CEREC® crowns and dental implants.
For over three decades, Dr. Ahn has remained dedicated to improving dental health and creating beautiful, show-stopping smiles.
Dr. Ahn completed his dental training at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, where he received additional specialty training in endodontics. Dr. Ahn moved to the United States, and in 1987, graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry where he also served as a clinical instructor from 1998 to 2001.
Dr. Ahn completed the Pankey Dental Institute Continuum in Florida and has been awarded a fellowship and mastership under the Academy of General Dentistry. He’s also been given the American Dental Association Lifetime Member Award, and he’s a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.
Dr. Ahn is the founder of the Ridgecrest Chamber Music Society. He’s had extensive experience, held numerous positions, and worked with prestigious organizations and clinics. For example, from 1995 to 2002 he was a board member at the Harbor Regional Center in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. He was also previously the chief of the dental department at Sungnam General Hospital in Seoul, South Korea.
Dr. Ahn has also served in the military as a dentist, rank of captain, for the South Korean Army 2295 Medical Corp.
Dr. Ahn stays up-to-date with the latest innovations in dentistry and utilizes the most advanced dental tools and technology, such as CBCT cone beam computed tomography scanner and Galileos® 3D imaging.

Dr Ahn and his staff provide the very best care ever in this community.
I went to see Dr Ahn for an emergency toothache. I was in severe pain. I figured I needed to have the tooth extracted. I have severe anxiety about dentists and haven't been in years. Dr Ahn did not judge me and he was so gentle and caring. And he saved my tooth! This was this morning and the numbness has wore off and my tooth now has no pain! Dr Ahn and his staff are amazing and show care that is hard to find nowadays! They cared more about my feelings and helping me than any other dentist in my past!! Im so grateful right now! Thank you!
