Dr. Isaza and team are great! I called the office and they made me an appt within that week. I was in severe pain when I went to his office. (I had already had my MRI) I had 2 bulging discs and bone fragments on my disc nerve rShow moreoot. He immediately set up a minimally non invasive surgery. I just had to stay overnight. The surgery was such a success with just normal soreness from surgery. They care about their patients and they are not "knife happy". He did microscopic surgery on my husband as well. It was outpatient. He is doing great. At my pre-op and post-op appointment, I saw Dr Isaza and Sabastian. Sabastian is great as well. I like seeing both of them. They answered all my questions prior to surgery and post surgery and they took their time to make sure I understood their answers. The office staff is so friendly, professional and very caring. It is so good to have a doctor that we can fully trust. Thank you so much.

Jorge Isaza, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon at Spine Specialists of Louisiana in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is board-certified by the American Board of Spine Surgery, and has more than fifteen years of experience in the care of spinal ailments.
Dr. Isaza graduated with a medical degree from the Universidad del Valle in Colombia in South America. From there, he continued his studies at Tulane University School of Medicine where he got his specialization in orthopedic surgery. He did a fellowship in spine surgery at Tulane University, as well as a second fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at Children's Hospital in New Orleans. He has been involved in the advancement of surgical spine technology for over 25 years, as well as having the honor to be the Chief Clinical Investigator for the Artificial Disc in the lumbar spine. He is also one of the first and few spine surgeons in the country to perform Endoscopic Spine Procedures.
Dr. Isaza has participated in multiple clinical trials in the advancements of spine surgery and is considered an expert in his field. Caring professional I just love my Doctor and his staff
I have been seeing Dr. Isaaza for over 5 years now and he still has the best bedside manner of any doctor I’ve seen previously. All of his staff, from the front desk throughout the building greet you with smiles. The aura there makes you feel well even if you aren’t in the most healthy situation.
