José Vilaró, MD, is a urologist and co-founder of Modern Urology in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Vilaró completed his bachelor’s degree at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. He then returned home to Puerto Rico to earn his medical degree at the Universidad Central del Caribe. After his medical school education, Dr. Vilaró then headed to Brooklyn, NY complete his urology residency at Maimonides Medical Center.
Dr. Vilaró has co-authored several industry publications and presented on numerous urology and medical topics in the field of robotic surgery, surgical safety, prostate cancer surveillance, and novel prostate biopsy techniques.
