Honestly, it's been a while were I do not have any negative feedback. Right from the start, the receptionist was so friendly and outgoing. I had forgotten a document to bring, she just told me not to worry about it and to get it eShow moremailed or to bring it in at the next visit. Our waiting time was null; we barely had time to sit down and start feeling out the paperwork when the nurse called us in. After she took us back and took all the vitals, explained everything and asked us if we had any questions or concern, she left and got the doc. Dr. Fleck introduced himself and continued to see what the reason is that we are there for. After he assest it, he gave us two possible options and the pros and cons of them. The procedure didn't even take five min, that's how it seemed and after he was done, he explained to us everything that needs to be done. We schedule a follow-up and left. I would highly recommend this practice.
Dr. Fleck is the very best of the best. He has pressure on both sides: the limited time allotted from the office and the questions from patients that need his time, a fine balancing act he is great at handling. He never gets upsetShow more, hides it fairly well. He deeply cares about the patient. I really enjoy visiting him and all of his office staff. Never had an issue. They are real and genuinely concerned to ensure my needs are met. I’m so very glad I switched to them last year, I’ll never look back. Friendly and professional at all visits. Highly knowledgeable and passionate with his patients, explains things where I understand. I consider him a good friend as well.
Joseph Fleck, DPM, is a board-qualified podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon. He serves patients at the Foot and Ankle Institute of Colorado, supporting the communities in and around Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Raised in Prior Lake, Minnesota, Dr. Fleck attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis for his undergraduate education. While working towards his degree in physiology, Dr. Fleck published several research studies and coordinated numerous clinical trials. He continued his education at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio. During his fourth year, Dr. Fleck worked alongside esteemed faculty to become an integral part of a published study on weight-bearing computed tomography (CT) imaging of the lower extremity.
Dr. Fleck completed his residency in a comprehensive three-year surgical program at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. He learned innovative surgical techniques for foot and ankle procedures and became a peer-reviewed published author. Following residency, Dr. Fleck was accepted into a highly competitive fellowship position at The American Foundation of Lower Extremity Surgery and Research in Southern New Mexico. During fellowship training, Dr. Fleck was exposed to a rigorous curriculum of foot, ankle, and lower leg pathology with a focus on advanced lower extremity reconstruction, arthroscopy, trauma, external fixation, sports medicine, and total joint replacement.
When he’s not in the office or operating room, Dr. Fleck enjoys spending time with his wife, their beloved pets, friends, and family. He is passionate about sports and loves playing golf.

My feet are definitely a challenge and Dr Fleck was definitely up to it. I’m sorry if I didn’t appear more grateful but I truly am. I’m still feeling pressure on different spots but short of a new foot I know I feel even better with the excellence that Dr Fleck performed. I can actually put on a shoe. Dr Fleck did a great job on my surgery. Minimal pain, minimal swelling, minimal numbness. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Fleck is kind, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and competent. He is a good listener and is patient to answer my questions. There were no surprises—except that surgery and recovery went a little easier than expected. Office staff are helpful. It is easy to get appointments when it’s convenient for me, and usually Dr. Fleck is on time. Highly recommended!
Dr Fleck was accurate, responsible, and caring from beginning to end. I would highly recommend placing your trust in his care. He fused my big toe joint closest to my foot. Lengthened my tendon on my 2nd toe and straightened my third toe which I had previously broken. All went as described by Dr. Fleck. All healed up and it feels and works great.
Doctor Fleck is absolutely amazing! He was so informative about everything that was to come. He’s attentive and overall I highly recommend him. The staff at his office are all really sweet ladies. Huge plus! We will be having our second surgery with Doctor Fleck near the end of the year.

Dr. Fleck is awesome! I loved the way he was straight forward with how high my arches are but didn’t pressure me into making a decision at the appointment. He is genuine and listened to me. He also was very clear on what I need to do to get my plantar fasciitis under control. Great experience!
