What a great first experience. Dr. Samaddar was highly knowledgeable, super personable and made me feel comfortable during our appointment. I’ve been having issues and this was the first time I’ve had an obgyn who showed great carShow moree and who have given a lot of insight as well as solutions to my issues. The facility was super clean and staff was welcoming and just overall amazing. I was also able to get some lab work done as well as set my next appointment. I love that this place specialize in women’s health. Highly recommend.

I was hesitant to start “rounding” to other providers because I have valued my experience with my primary OB at the practShow moreice, but Dr. Sammaddar was exceptional. She took her time, heard what I had to say, and explained everything with positivity and through the lens of educating me.
Meet Dr. Samaddar
Julia Samaddar, MD, MPH, FACOG is a board-certified physician serving patients in Atlanta, Georgia providing obstetrics and gynecology services to the Georgia community. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry from Emory University in Atlanta, Dr. Samaddar went on to earn a Master of Public Health and Health Informatics from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Dr. Samaddar completed her medical education at the Medical College of Georgia where she received a Doctor of Medicine degree. As she was drawn to surgery and Ob/Gyn care, Dr. Samaddar continued her education at the Medical College of Georgia where she completed her residency in Ob/Gyn. She's received training in high-risk obstetrics, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, gynecology oncology, and urogynecology. In addition to her medical training, Dr. Samaddar has been in several publications relating to breast cancer and antiestrogen resistance. Additionally, Dr. Samaddar is trained in minimally invasive gynecological procedures including the da Vinci® Surgical System. She continued her career at a prominent Ob/Gyn practice at Emory University Midtown Hospital where she also served as a Clinical Professor to help train the next generation of physicians. Dr. Samaddar continues to strive beyond industry standards to provide the best treatments and knowledge to her patients and is always up to date with the latest literature and advanced care methodologies. Outside of the office, Dr. Samaddar is married with two children, a dog, and spends her time with friends and family, reading, traveling, dancing, and cooking.

I did not have an appointment with Dr Samaddar. It was cancelled due to a surgery. I’ve sought other care since I was coming for a first visit after Dr Barratt’s retirement and have changed insurers.
Great place
Dr.Smadder was very thorough, creates a welcoming atmosphere, which helps you to relax. Go through each detail step by step and ask if you have any questions. Brittney her assistant is just as warm, friendly, very professional. These two people are just simply amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Smadder, you won't regret you did!!

I am a new patient and I am extremely happy with my doctor. She has a great bedside nannied and trul makes me feel like I’m getting personalized attention.
